Upcoming performances/ project:
FRUITFUL! is a collection of site-specific prints to celebrate New Year’s, inspired by Philippine New Year’s traditions. In the Philippines, where I was born and raised, new year practices include finding as many round fruits to have on the new year’s eve banquet table. This is meant to usher in good luck in the new year. It is also customary to wear polka-dots for new year’s, again the more circles the better. I share this tradition @ 4by4on5th (234-E 5thAve), adding my own take with some fruitful PUNderings.
What is the highlight of your work?
I am a multimedia storyteller. I create art that celebrates the essence of life and moments. I find inspiration in my own life journey and of those with whom I have crossed paths with. I try to make the moments linger longer by creating art that aids us in the remembering and retelling of our stories.
Future goals:
I hope to create more art, poetry and stories. It is very likely that a new book and art exhibition will come out of 2023.
