What is the highlight of your work?
To be able to create and tell stories from underrepresented communities and making sure that these stories are not just watched but also heard.
Future goals:
To be able to bridge Canada and the Philippines with the stories I tell through international co-productions and provide more opportunities for emerging filmmakers.

Forbidden Tikka Masala
When a devout vegetarian Indian woman from Vancouver accidentally eats chicken and her son’s wedding in Toronto gets called off shortly after, she blames herself for her family’s misfortune. Determined to atone for her ‘sinful’ act and to save her son’s wedding, she embarks on a cross-country journey filled with unfortunate mishaps, unlikely friendships, and unforgettable Canadian cuisine.
