Personal & Professional Philosophy:
Being raised Catholic, I have always had a strong religious connection. I believe my ancestors are also my angels and that if you listen closely, they will guide you to fulfill a destiny way beyond our dreams and goals. I also believe finding stillness and peace in your day is when you can hear the angels speak.

Upcoming performances/ project:
Fleck Dance Theatre, Toronto, February 2-3, 2018 – presented by dance Immersion
Joyce Theater, NYC, February 6-11, 2018

What is the highlight of your work?
The highlight of my work is when I get to share with the future generations of dance. I have been so fortunate to have amazing supportive teachers who believed in me and pushed me to be the best I could be. Sharing my knowledge and information with them makes me very proud of my accomplishments in the dance field.

Future goals:
Now that I am 43 and teaching pre-professionals in both the high school and university setting, I feel that the next goal is to discover the real traditional dances from the Philippines and other Pacific Island traditions. The ultimate goal would be to perform in the Philippines and teach workshops to dancers of all generations while simultaneously learning and studying as a cultural arts exchange.
